In MaxOptra, it is possible to edit planned, but not fixed, orders without un-allocating them. Planned orders editing is available from the Planning screen, Orders screen, and Track&Trace screen. To edit planned order parameters, click the order reference (or double-click the order card) on the Gantt chart or on the Track&Trace screen to open the order form:
You can edit any order parameter except the following fields (in gray colour):
Order reference (order name)
Distribution centre
Location (order address)
Date
Editing of the following order parameters can affect scheduling:
Priority
Vehicle requirements
Territory
Stop sequence
Operation time window
Weight/Volume
Operation duration
Order type (Collection/Drop)
After editing the order parameters, MaxOptra analyzes changes and, if necessary, reschedules the orders moving them in time but not resequencing them. All subsequent runs are being moved in time as well. When editing order parameters, if any of schedule limits are violated (for example, the driving time changes, the operation time window is out of planned time of an order execution, capacity limits are exceeded), MaxOptrawill display a violation message. In this case, the dispatcher can reschedule such order manually to the optimal place ignoring these violations.
You can edit your planned, but UNLOCKED, orders not only from the Planning screen but via API and import process as well. Before your schedule is fixed you can change any order parameter **not affecting planning ** in your CRM system or in your CSV-import file and, when importing your order, this parameter will be updated in MaxOptra automatically.
Order parameters available for editing via API and import process:
Order items
Additional instructions
Client name
Contact person
Contact number
Contact e-mail
Return packages
Additional attributes
If you try to update via API or import process the fields that are not permitted for editing, MaxOptra will suggest you create a copy of this order or to skip it.
