Sometimes, business requires having the printed form of driver manifest. MaxOptra provides a few ready templates of driver manifests that can be used by default. However, these predefined templates may not suit everybody: very often you may need to add, edit or remove some fields in the standard form. For this purpose MaxOptra gives the possibility to create (configure) your own driver manifest template.
How to Enable Editing the Driver Manifest Template in MaxOptra
To edit the driver manifest template in MaxOptra, please contact the MaxOptra Support Team ([email protected]).
To start using the default driver manifest template, go to the Settings tab under the role of Account Administrator. In the Execution section, open the Execution preference screen and tick the Use driver manifest template checkbox.
Note If you enable this option, the Driver Manifest Configuration function becomes disabled. If you want to configure the columns in your Driver manifest yourself, then leave this checkbox clear.
How to Create a Driver Manifest Template in MaxOptra
To create a new or edit the existing driving manifest template, under the role of Account Administrator go to the Driver manifest template tab in the list of Advanced settings. The screen will display the Simple Driver manifest template used as the default one:
There are four different Driver manifest templates in the system:
Simple Driver manifest
Simple Driver manifest with items
Driver manifest with map
Driver manifest with items and map
Select the one you want from the dropdown.
To create a new driver manifest template, click the Create from example button.
The new screen is displayed with two samples of the driver manifest forms, based on which you can create your own custom form. Select the form you need and click the Create new from the example button at the bottom of the screen.
The New template name pop-up window where you should specify a new template name:
Specify the new template name and click Ok to save the template. The new template is created.
Another way to create a new template is to clone it from the existing template. In the templates drop-down list, select the template you need and click the Clone as button. In the New template name pop-up window, specify a new template name and click Ok to save the created (cloned) template.
How to Edit a Driver Manifest Template
Driver Manifest Editor Console should be managed by the developers only!
To edit the newly created or the existing template, select the template you need from the dropdown, and click the Edit button.

After making changes to the template the Save and Discard buttons become available at the bottom of the screen that allow saving and canceling changes made in the template after the last saving. The reminder

When all your templates are set, you can select one of them to use as the default one. Select the template you need from the dropdown and click the Use as default button.
You can print the customized Driver Manifest form by clicking on the Print button at the right bottom corner of the screen.
To delete a template, select the template you need in the drop-down list and click on the Delete button at the left bottщm corner of the screen.
