Sometimes it is important to put certain orders in a specific place within a route.

The order field Stop sequence will help you to set up a sequence of orders within a single route. You can set this field in your Order Import File. Column Names and Requirements , save request or in the Editing orders.

To set up the sequence of newly created orders, select one of the options (First, Any or Last in the Stop sequence field).

Then, when auto-planning, the program will sequence the orders according to the chosen settings to create a revised schedule.

When scheduling manually, you can put the orders marked as First or Last anywhere on the route despite their Stop sequence setting. For example, the order with stop sequence First may be put after another order with stop sequence Any. Or the order marked as Last may be put before another order marked as Any. In such cases MaxOptra will show a violation warning “This order should be first / last on route”.

If you have several orders marked as First or Last then they will all be scheduled earlier or later than the other orders marked as Any. In this case, the orders' sequence relative to each other should be defined according to the optimal route.

If the setting Collections only after deliveries is on, then the Stop sequence will take priority (contact the MaxOptra Support Team, if you need this option). It means that all collections marked as First will be allocated before the deliveries marked as Any, or any delivery marked as Last will be scheduled after all deliveries and collections.
