It is a usual case when customer location address or name is updated. At the same time, this customer location already exists in MaxOptra and is not considered to be new. An option of customer locations searching and matching by coordinates while importing orders was developed for such cases.

This feature is optional. If you need to set up the Customer location matching by coordinates option please contact MaxOptra Support.

When importing orders from an import file MaxOptra searches and matches customer locations by their names and addresses. If the name and address of a customer location from the import file are the same as the name and address of a customer location existing in the system, the order will be automatically assigned to this customer location.

In case the name and address of a customer location are not quite the same (for instance, due to spelling discrepancy), MaxOptra will search partial customer locations matching by the name, address and coordinates. If there are several customer locations found at the same address MaxOptra will offer to select an appropriate one or to create a new customer location.
