Before any planning is on, the blank Planning screen looks like the one below:
Let us study the Planning screen more closely.
Planning Date and Distribution center.
To select the planning date, click the calendar button
and the pop-up calendar will appear. Select the planning date on the calendar. You can also scroll through the dates using the back/forward arrows of the calendar.
If you have several distribution centers, select the one you need in the drop-down list box to the right of the planning date.
The list of vehicles assigned to the selected distribution centre.
The Unplanned Orders section is the list of orders for the selected planning date.
The Map section. All Unplanned orders are shown on the Map.
The Planning section (Gantt chart) is the area where the orders are assigned to vehicles, scheduled and displayed in a route timeline bar. Before planning is on, the area is empty.
In order to make your scheduling procedure more convenient, you may resize or hide/open some windows on the Planning screen.
To resize the planning section and to widen/narrow down the map, hover a cursor over the bottom border of the planning section and pull it up or down.
You can close (hide) the map and the unplanned orders section as well. Click the Close/Open button on the bottom border of the planning section; it will close the map and show the list of vehicles with their timelines. Click the Close/Open button on the left border of the Unplanned orders section to hide the unplanned orders from the Planning screen.
