Communications Report

All SMS and E-mail messages that are sent by MaxOptra and any failures are recorded in the Communications report.

To view the report, go to the Reports tab and select Communications report

Communications report

On the screen the relevant information is displayed:

  • Date/Time - Date and time when this communication was generated

  • Order - Order reference for which the notification was generated

  • Type - SMS or E-mail

  • To - Phone number or e-mail address the message is sent to

  • Parts - In case this is an SMS, the field shows the number of parts the message was broken into. In case it is an E-mail, the field remains blank.

  • Result - "Sent" if no error, "Error" if any error occurred while sending

  • Trigger - The name of the Action from the "SMS/E-mail messages" configuration screen (see [SMS/Email

messages](sms-email_messages_notification_templates)).

  • Body - Preview of the text of the message sent. To see the whole message, hover the mouse on the body to view the full message.

The messages are ordered in date/time ascending order by default.

The data can be filtered by:

  • Date

  • Type - "SMS" and/or "E-mail"

  • Trigger - one of the Actions from the "SMS/E-mail messages" configuration screen (see SMS/Email messages).

The Communications report can be exported as a .csv file. Click the Export button to download the file on your PC. If a filter was applied, only the filtered data would be included in the exported report.

The report is only available to Account Administrators.

Additionally there is a new tab for "Communications" on Orders and display all sms/email communication for that specific order opened.
