The following sequence of steps should be taken to enable you to start using the MaxOptra System including manually or automatically planning delivery orders and tracking their progress.
We recommend using Google Chrome
or Mozilla Firefox
for all operating systems. For more details, see Browser Installation and Update Guide.
Note that Internet Explorer
and Microsoft Edge
are NOT SUPPORTED, so please avoid using these browsers.
First login
To begin, type in the URL you received from MaxOptra Support into the browser address bar:
2. Log on to the system by typing the username and password.
Note: When you log into MaxOptra for the first time, your password must be at least 8 symbols long. In case you forgot your password, click the Forgot your password button. A reset password link will be sent by email. The link can be used only once, and its valid for a limited time only.
3.Once you have logged in, you can see your username in the right corner.
Clicking your username and select User Settings to update your details, including changing an email address and password:
Here you can also select you User role (Account Administrator or Dispatcher), and the account Language.
Click the
icon next to the username to open the Contact us dialog, where you can type your question to the Support team.

button to open the MaxOptra Help Centre, which provides direct access to MaxOptra documentation.
4. Under User Role select Account administrator. In the General setting section select About company and complete your company information in the specified boxes, such as: company name, address, phone number, email, contact person details etc.
Note: The recommended file type for the logo is .PNG and the maximum file size is 99KB.
5. Next, create Distribution centres, as described in Creating distribution centres.
6. Next, create one or more Vehicles , as described in Creating vehicles.
After creating each new vehicle, the system will automatically create Driver and User, e.g. ‘Driver for (vehicle registration)'.
7. Edit name(s) and parameters of created driver(s) and of created user(s).
8. Import Orders to the system, as described in Order Import Process.
Note
While importing, customer location that are not yet presented in the system will be created automatically and their parameters will be populated by the system on the basis of import data.
Orders can also be created manually, as described in Creating orders manually.
9. Perform automatic planning as described in Scheduling for one Distribution centre. If necessary, adjust automatic planning results with manual planning, described in Manual Planning.
10. Perform tracking of the execution of planned orders, as described in Track & Trace.
