A Distribution centre (DC) is one of the main objects used for planning. This is where the vehicles start from and return to. Deliveries are loaded and collections are returned back to the Distribution centre. You can have more than one distribution centre but you have to have at least one DC to work with MaxOptra.
Please note: changing break configuration will not apply to days with already planned routes. This will be fixed in 5.18 release

Create a distribution centre and ensure the the selected role is Account Administrator and you are on the Distribution centres page of the Settings tab:
On the bottom toolbar of the screen, click Add and the following screen will now appear:
To make configuration easier, we've split Distribution Centre settings into three sections:
Basics – General information and key details.
Operating Hours – Define working hours and availability.
Execution Settings – Control operational preferences and rules
Fill out the basic information and click next
Set up the operating hours for the distribution centre
Enable 24/7 to set all the opening hours to 00:00-23:59 by default
Click on
to apply the hours to other days
In Execution set the NEW break rules
These rules will be applied to runs within the specific distribution centre.
Dynamic breaks allow adjusting the driver's non-working time by different parameters.
Fixed breaks allow setting drivers to have breaks at certain time of the day in their shift.
