When planning your orders, use the upper toolbar to perform actions with the schedules and the map. By using the upper toolbar, you can lock and unlock schedules, run planning, unallocate vehicles, draw the routes in different views, and so on. Let us study the toolbar in details.
Schedule Actions
You can use the toolbar to perform the following scheduling actions:
Optimise. To run planning use the
button. MaxOptra will automatically plan your orders for the current distribution centre (by default). If you click the dropdown arrow next to the button, the following options will become available:
. Here you can select to run planning for 1 day or for several (2-5) days, for one or for all distribution centres (for more details, see Multi-day Optimisation). When the planning session is running, the button shows the spinning wheel
, and the system displays the progress bar:
. When the session is finished, the button changes to
, and the system notifies about planning results.
Lock schedule. Clicking the
button will lock your schedule for all vehicles.
Unlock schedule. Clicking the
button will unlock your schedule for all vehicles.
Unallocate all vehicles. To unallocate all vehicles, click the
button. All unlocked runs will be unallocated from all the vehicles.
Undo Clicking the
button reverts the last non-undone manual planning action,
Redo Clicking the
button restores the last undone manual planning action.
Disable/Enable auto-resequencing. When you plan manually, clicking the
button will disable auto-resequencing and allow you to allocate an order to a definite place within a run,
Settings
During scheduling, you can edit planning settings from the Planning screen. Clicking the
button will open the Settings window where you can edit your planning settings.
View Options
The
button will allow you to switch between the Planning Screen - Table View , the Compact view and the Planning Screen - Gantt Chart View of the Planning screen.
Search
You can search for vehicles, drivers, as well as for planned and unplanned orders, using the search field located in the toolbar. Start typing, and the matching items will be displayed in the dropdown.
The search results of different types (vehicles / drivers / orders) can be displayed together in the All tab (by default) or separately in Orders, Vehicles, Driver tabs, respectively.
Click the result to show the order/vehicle/driver on the map and on the Gantt chart.
Or click the
icon to open the edit form.
Note Search can be done only for the selected date.
The system will search for results by a number of parameters. The parameter, in which the requested data was found, is displayed in the second line under the entity's name/number.
