Export in MaxOptra
MaxOptra provides a convenient tool for exporting your orders and schedules. The export functionality may be useful in the following cases:
when you want to give some orders away for outsourcing;
when you need to make changes to the client's CRM
when you want to move the orders/schedules to other DC, etc.
Exporting Orders/Schedules Using the Export Button
You can export the unplanned orders or the whole schedule without leaving the Planning screen. To do it, click the
(Export to file) button in the menu above the Unplanned orders section.
A dialog is opened, displaying the export options: Schedule or Unplanned orders.
If you do not have scheduled runs yet, only one option is displayed:
After selecting the option you need, click Export. The data is downloaded to your PC as a file of the format selected in Export parameters (see Import / Export ). CSV format is used by default.
You cannot use the export file to import it to the system, as the tables of the import and export files have different structures. The export file should be used only for one of the purposes mentioned in the "Export in Maxoptra" (above).
Orders/schedules can be exported only for the current day and for the current DC.
Unplanned orders are exported in the same order as they are listed in the system. If filter is applied, the orders will be exported as filtered (orders discarded by the filter will not be exported).
Exporting Schedules Using Context Menu
It is also possible to export a schedule using the vehicle's context menu. To do it, right click the vehicle's card and select the Export run option. A sub-menu is displayed, prompting you to select either a specific run (Run #1, Run #2, etc.) or all runs (All) to be exported.
Exporting Orders from the Orders Screen
It is also possible to export orders from the Orders screen in MaxOptra. Click the Export button at the bottom of the screen to see the dialog:
Click Export. The export file is downloaded to your PC as a .csv-file.
You can apply an order filter to export orders sorted by specific parameters (see Filtering orders). In this case only the orders satisfying the filter parameters will be included in the export file.
Export file capacity is limited to 5,000 orders. Make sure this number is not exceeded, as the excess orders will not be exported.
