If your drivers are using the MaxOptra Android application you can make them collect customer signatures and generate POD documents with the help of MaxOptra. This is a brief overview of how to do that.
Once you reach the last step of the workflow, before clicking the completion button, click the Add Signature field on the order screen.
You can type in the Name and the customer can use the finger to sign on the touchscreen of the device:
Click Done to return to the order screen.
Note You can make the Signature field a required field, i.e., you will not be allowed to complete an order without taking the signature first (Required becomes red). For more details, see Order Completion. POD Collection. Checking Order Items (Android app).
Once the signature is collected it is then transmitted to MaxOptra. You can review it on the Track&Trace screen. The orders with signatures are marked with a special icon:
You can review the POD form by clicking it:
If you only need the signature image you can right-click the signature and select your browser's Copy image option.
To save the POD document as a PDF, simply print the page and select Save as PDF as your printer:
You can also set automatic emailing of POD document as a PDF to your customer upon completed delivery. Go to Settings>SMS/Email messages and select the Order is completed event. There you will find the Attach POD option which allows you to automatically email the customer the generated POD file as soon as the order is completed:
