Orders and runs in iOS mobile application

Written by Arthur Ashdown

When orders are sent to your device, an alert is displayed, informing about updates:

Click OK, then click the run to see the details.

Here, on the Run screen the following sections are available:

  • Search bar – used to search the orders;

  • Run information – shows the general data, such as start and end points, run date and planned start/end time.

By clicking this section, the map with the planned route is displayed:

Here, on the Run Details screen, you can also control order visibility. Click the

button to see the Order Visibility options. Enable the options that you want your orders to be displayed on the map.

  • Filters bar – shows the total number of orders in four different statuses: Waiting, Suspended, Cancelled, Completed.

By clicking one of the filter buttons, all orders having this status are hidden from the list. This can be very helpful if the list of orders is too long to keep track of all of them on the screen.

  • List of orders – order cards, displaying general information, such as order type (collection/delivery), date and time, address, status.

To start working on the run, select one of the orders from the list. The order details are displayed, which include:^

  • Order number

  • Date and planned arrival time

  • Order time windows

  • Address

  • Client's name (if specified)

  • Contact name (if specified)

  • Order capacity and cost (if specified)

  • Additional instructions (if specified)

Click Start to start off for the order.

By pressing the Start button, the order status will be transmitted to the MaxOptra Track&Trace screen. It will enable the dispatcher to monitor the order statuses.

In case of customized SMS and/or email notifications, this status will be used to notify the customer on the actual status of the order (depending on the related SMS/Email text content).
