Types of Breaks
There are two types of breaks in MaxOptra - dynamic and fixed. Let us review them in detail.
Dynamic break
It is a type of break, where you can adjust the driver's non-working time by different parameters. Dynamic break is set by default. The following parameters are configured by default for each driver:
Break duration (how long the break actually lasts) - the default value is 45 minutes;
Driving time before break (for how long the driver can drive the vehicle before they can have a break) -the default value is 4.5 hours;
Working time before break (total working time before break (driving + loading/unloading + other activities)) - the default value is 6 hours;
In addition to that, the Allowed break shift setting can be used to provide more flexibility. This is time by which breaks can be automatically shifted. The default is 2 hours.
Fixed break
Select to ensure specific break times for each driver, ensuring consistent break schedules.
