Track & Trace Configuration

We understand the importance of knowing an order's/vehicles location for both businesses and customers. MaxOptra Track & Trace allows users to quickly view and identify order/driver location and statuses, enabling informed communications with customers and aiding transport managers in facilitating improvements in delivery performance

How to Track & Trace

Track & Trace can be viewed by either a dispatcher or customer service To start:

Click on Track & Trace

A list of driver/vehicle runs will be display

Click on a driver to view the status of orders assigned to the driver and click on the map icon to see the current location of the driver

The loading bar displays a summary of the driver's current run, including the delivery status of each order and a percentage of completed locations according to GPS data

How to filter

Filter the tracking screen to limit the displayed vehicles and orders by the following parameters:

  • Date

  • Distribution Centre

  • Vehicle (All is selected by default)

  • Completion status

Click the refresh icon to manually update the tracking screen data . The data will automatically update when you change the filters and will display the last time data was updated

How to search for orders

You can search for an order by entering information from the following parameters:

  • Date Range (Required)

  • Distribution Centre

  • Barcode

    The search function accepts the following values: Additional Attributes, Client name, Contact number, Contact person, Customer location name, Order reference, Territory

    Found orders will be highlighted in Blue

How to customise your view

Click on Customise to configure the data to be displayed on the Track & Trace screen by selecting an array of columns from the Visibility of columns menu

The Column Visibility Settings are displayed. Customise the table view by selecting columns to display and rearranging their order by dragging a field

Note: Actual arrivals and departures are tracked using GPS and stop point area (Geozone with a radius of 200 meters—customised in the account setting).

Colour

Meaning

A driver arrived to a customer location in planned time

A driver arrived to a customer location earlier than the planned time

A driver arrived to a customer location later than not in planned time

A driver did not arrive to a customer location.
