Setting driver's login and password
Under the **Account Administrator ** role, go to **Resources>****User ** and create a username and password for the driver to log in to the system (see User parameters and System Roles). This is done only once.
The driver's role is Performer.
While setting up the login and the password we recommend you using English alphabet. The password should be at least 8 symbols long.
Each driver must have a unique username; however a password can be the same for all drivers.
After setting up the driver's login, click the **Save ** button. Now your system is ready to work with the mobile application.
Creating an order
Create an order manually or load an order from a CSV-file or using an API-request.
If an order consists of several items you can add items barcodes on the Order items tab:
Thus, an order will be identified and confirmed by scanning the barcodes upon delivery to the customer.
Note The ZXing Team Barcode Scanner – an open source mobile application – is recommended as a mobile client software barcode scanner.
Planning a run
Now plan an order, i.e., allocate an order to the vehicle you need. You can do it using any method that is more convenient for you:
automatically, using the Optimise button (see Automated Scheduling);
manually, by dragging an order from the Unplanned order list and from the map to the Gantt chart (Order allocation from the Map, Order allocation from Unplanned orders list).
using the context menu by right-clicking directly on the map (Order allocation from the Map, Suggest allocations, Order allocation using the vehicle's context menu (Swap runs)).
Then lock the run. The run should be locked to prevent it from changing during further scheduling. You can lock the run using the Run action context menu by selectin Lock run:
If you need to lock all schedules for all vehicles for that day, use the
button in the upper toolbar:
Launching mobile process. Sending order details to drivers
After locking the run, send the order details to the driver. You can do it directly from the Planning screen or from the Track&Trace screen.
Sending details from Planning screen
To send order details to the driver from the Planning screen, click the
button on the upper toolbar of the vehicles section if you want to send details to all drivers at once, or click it on the specific vehicle's card to send details to this particular driver:
Sending details from Track & Trace screen
To send details to the driver from the **Track&Trace ** screen, under the role of **Dispatcher ** go to the *Track&Trace ** screen> >>*Vehicle track & trace ** tab. Set the required filter to select data for sending and click Apply:
In of the appropriate driver's toolbar click the **Send all orders to this drive ** button.
If you want to send order details to all drivers, select all drivers you want to send details to and click Send details to all:
The Confirmation dialog is displayed. Click Yes to confirm sending order details to all drivers:
Note: If the driver is offline or the mobile application is not installed on his device, the system will store the jobs and send them as soon as the driver comes online from his mobile application (the phone is online and ready to work).
